This integration with Rent Manager leverages its reporting capabilities, enabling GP users to directly attach Rent Manager reports to their quarterly deal reports in Covercy.
This feature enables GPs to easily generate key financial reports without switching platforms, ensuring a smooth experience for quarterly reporting.
Integrated reports:
These are the initial reports we selected based on customer feedback. If any additional reports are needed, contact your account manager—they can be easily added.
-
Profit & Loss: Displays the financial performance of an asset over a specific period.
-
Balance Sheet: Shows the asset’s financial position, including assets, liabilities, and equity.
-
Cash Flow: Tracks the cash inflows and outflows for the asset over a period.
-
Rent Roll: Provides a summary of the rental income and tenant information.
Attaching Rent Manager reports to a Quarterly Report:
Prerequisites: Connect Covercy as an Integration in Rent Manager
Before a GP can attach Rent Manager reports to their quarterly reports, they must first connect Covercy as a partner integration in Rent Manager. Instructions on how to do this here.
Once connected: Use the Rent Manager Reporting Within Covercy GP
-
Inside an (Under Management) Asset/Fund → Reports Tab
2. When creating a new report, GP users sees two attachment options:
-
-
Upload from your computer: Allows the GP to upload files directly from their computer.
-
[New] Import from Manager Report: Enables the generation and import of reports from Rent Manager.
Select Import from Rent Manager
-
Covercy will initiate a connection with Rent Manager
A side panel will open, emulating the Rent Manager experience:
Set Parameters: Adjust the time range and property selection. If selecting multiple properties, one report will be generated for all properties. For separate files, create one report at a time.
Advanced Options: Refine the report with additional parameters if needed.
This can be configured once per report, and the preferences will be saved across all holdings.
Generate Report: Once generated, the file will be attached to the quarterly report. You can preview, download, or rename the attachments as needed.
Renaming Files: The three dots menu on the right of the attachment allows you to delete or rename your uploaded files.
Permissions
Access to Rent Manager is restricted to users who have access to all holdings. Users without full access to holdings will not have the option to attach Rent Manager reports to their high-level Covercy reports.
